The Threshing Barn

For self catering cottages offering tranquillity and space, the Threshing Barn is the perfect choice. The Threshing Barn is a magnificent Grade II Listed oak timber framed building that has been restored to meet with the highest architectural and environmental conservation standards.

The beautiful barn offers comfortable holiday accommodation in an original timber building that is full of character.

The Threshing Barn has been 4 Star rated by Visit Britain. Our accommodation offers all of the facilities that you will need for a home away from home. You will be delighted with the fully equipped bespoke oak fitted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge/freezer, stainless steel double oven, hob with extractor and microwave. Guests using wheelchairs will enjoy a comfortable stay here as there is a shower room and toilet on the ground floor that has been designed with wheelchair users in mind.

The barn has a great deal of charm and character; the grand hall dining and sitting room furniture has been made from the old barn timbers and there are handmade felt rugs on the under floor heated flagstones. In the lounge you will find two sofas and two sofa beds that can be made up into single beds. The lounge has TV, DVD/video surround sound and music centre facilities. There is also a payphone.

Lounge2We have retained and used all the property’s original features and the old threshing floor has been used to create a beamed bedroom with antique pine furniture. The bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and the beds can be made up as a super king-size double or two large singles.

There is a laptop, printer and broadband internet available in our barn. There is also an adjacent laundry room, small gym and Sauna. The Threshing Barn’s south facing, wide glazed walkway that leads out onto the secluded patio garden, where you can sit out and hear the adjacent stream; it is the ideal place to relax and recharge your batteries. From the site there are incredible views of the Malvern Hills and the iron aged fort.
